Hairball Relief Plus is a liquid which encloses the hairballs, which are foreign objects situated in the stomach and therefore interfere with the digestive activity, with a highly lubricated coating. The coating facilitates the passage of the pyloric orifice and the intestinal tract in the course of the spiral contraction waves of the functional funnel shaped stomach. This again ensures an uninterrupted transport of food and the constant irritation of the stomach lining caused by the hairballs is eliminated.
Furthermore, the special hairball formula prevents hair in the stomach from being able to lump together. This prophylactic application is particularly suitable for long-haired cat breeds and for cats which are kept indoors which are lacking the natural dispensary of hairballs by vomiting after the intake of coarse-grained plants such as grass for instance.
