N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine is a more rapidly absorbed and bioavailable form of the amino acid L-tyrosine, and is less prone to urinary excretion. L-Tyrosine is converted in the body to key biologic compounds, including epinephrine, dopamine, L-Dopa, Co-Q10, thyroid hormones, and melanin. The B vitamins pyridoxine (B-6), and folic acid are provided to assist in the conversion process. KEY FEATURES -
More bioavailable than regular L-Tyrosine. -
Elevates neurotransmitter levels. -
Improves negative mental states. -
Inhibits blood pressure increases due to hereditary hypertension. -
Eases alcohol withdrawal. -
Used by Parkinson’s patients. N-acetyl-L-tyrosine, which is converted in the body to tyrosine, is absorbed in the digestive tract much better than tyrosine itself. Our product also contains vitamin B-6 and folic acid — required cofactors for neurotransmitter synthesis. The amino acid L-tyrosine is a precursor from which the brain makes neurotransmitters such as dopamine and norepinephrine. Stress can cause mild neurotransmitter deficiencies, leading to depression or sullen moods. Tyrosine supplementation elevates neurotransmitter levels and improves negative mental states. Indirect evidence suggests that tyrosine supplementation may inhibit blood pressure increases due to hereditary hypertension. It is also used by Parkinson’s patients and for easing alcohol withdrawal. Suggested Use: 1 tablet daily, or as recommended by your health care professional.
